How much do you charge? Under most circumstances, I prefer to arrange a per project fee with clients. In some cases, I set up an hourly fee. Additionally, I have a fee schedule for specific items. Contact me for more information.
What kind of projects do you take on? I do both online and off-line content writing projects, in a wide range of subject areas. This includes print and Internet articles, press releases, blog posts, reports, instructional materials, white papers, trade show materials and more. I also create Twitter and Facebook status updates for clients to enter into their feeds.
While much of my work has been in the business/financial, sustainability, legal/public policy and education arenas, I am a quick study and capably delve into other areas for client projects.
What can I expect when working with you? You can expect the utmost in professionalism. I will gather a lot of information to ensure that I understand the scope of the project and the subtleties of the message you want. I’ll be asking about your product/service, your target audience, examples of work you may have liked or disliked, the best sources of information, any style preferences you have, and what or whom the review process will include. We will discuss the medium you have selected for your message and your reasons for this preference. I work to develop the right voice for your project by studying your notes and existing content/marketing pieces.
Once we complete an agreement and you submit your deposit, I get started; you will receive quality work on time, and will be able to make reasonable revisions within the scope of the assignment.
